Fulford Academy is a coeducational, private boarding school for international students (ages 11 to 17; grades 7 to 10). The focus of Fulford is to help prepare students to be successful at top boarding school across Canada and the United States, or to return home with wonderful memories and improved academic and language skills. This is achieved through the completion of a language – through-content program which increases: a student’s language abilities, their learning skills, and by helping them to adapt to Canadian culture, specifically the culture of the classroom. Students with beginner to high-level intermediate English will benefit from our unique and rewarding programs for second language learning. Through appropriate grade-level curriculum, all of our students receive full ESL support from certified teachers in every class. Small class sizes and additional hours of instruction ensure individual attention, personalized support and success in our English-only environment. Situated in the heart of the 1000 Islands, the city of Brockville, Ontario is designated a ‘safe community‘ by the World Health Organization. Our 114-bed residence, with double gymnasium provides students with a home away from home during their stay. Each floor is Wi-Fi accessible and offers a common room and kitchenette. Males and females are accommodated separately, with up to four students per room. Laundry service and 24/7 supervision are provided. Three meals a day and snacks provided on-campus.

Students are engaged in English at all times and challenged to grow personally. Over the course of an academic year, students will have the opportunity to visit: Canada’s Capital of Ottawa, historic Montreal and Quebec City, the metropolis of Toronto, and the breathtaking Niagara Falls.
